Overview

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the L & J Septic Services website and your purchase of our septic inspection services. By booking an inspection, you agree to these Terms.

Service Description

Our septic inspection includes digging distribution boxes and tank access, mapping lines, documenting condition, performing flow checks, and providing a written report with photos. Pumping is not included.

Service Area

We generally serve properties within a 30-mile radius of Statesville, North Carolina. If you schedule a service outside this range, additional travel charges or cancellation may apply. We will notify you before proceeding.

Payments

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Payment is due at the time of scheduling. Inspections are non-refundable once work begins on-site, but we will reschedule as needed with reasonable notice.

Customer Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and accessible yard areas for digging.
• Keep pets secured during inspection.
• Notify us of known system issues or hazards.
• Provide accurate property and contact details.

Liability

Septic systems can vary widely in age, construction, and condition. Our inspection documents observable components and system behavior at the time of inspection. We do not guarantee system lifespan or performance after inspection. We are not responsible for pre-existing issues or defects not visible at the time of inspection.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

You may reschedule by contacting us prior to your appointment. Cancellations made without reasonable notice may be subject to a fee if travel has already occurred.
